Augustine Gomez

Principal & Co-Chief Executive Officer

Augustine “Auggie” Gomez joined the McRae Group of Companies in 2012 and since that time has served in multiple executive roles, most recently as President. Today, as Principal & Co-CEO of the McRae Group, Auggie works closely with Founder & CEO Ron McRae in leading all facets of the Company. Auggie has substantial experience in land investment and residential housing, having held various industry-related positions in acquisitions and project management/entitlements with a public homebuilder and as a founding principal of a private land investment firm. Auggie has also held multiple community and volunteer leadership positions. For over a decade, Auggie served on the Phoenix Country Day School (“PCDS”) Alumni Board including two terms (six years) as President. During his tenure as Alumni Board President, Auggie also served as a member (ex officio) of the PCDS Board of Trustees. For two years, Auggie also served on the Board of Directors (Treasurer) of one of the largest credit unions in Arizona with 157,000 members and $2bn in assets.

Auggie holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing.

Benjamin J. McRae

Vice President of Operations

Benjamin joined the McRae Group of Companies in September 2012. He is responsible for analyzing new acquisitions, coordinating due diligence, managing entitlement efforts and property maintenance, overseeing office operations and a myriad of activities required for successful real estate transactions. Benjamin has also held various community and volunteer leadership positions. He has served two terms (six years) on the Phoenix Country Day School (“PCDS”) Alumni Board, but more predominantly, Benjamin currently serves on the Board for local children’s charity non-profit, Scottsdale 20/30, as Chairman and former Vice President.

Benjamin holds a bachelor’s degree in both Business Management and History.
